Computers and Software
CRaG Systems public courses require the use of a computer rather than paper for exercises. Please see the Case Tool Use on Courses page for a discussion of this issue. Most students prefer to use their own laptops so we do not normally provide them. Please bring a mouse. Pads and sticks are not suitable for graphical work.

Please ensure that you have the necessary software downloaded and installed onto your laptop and the appropriate exercise zip file downloaded onto your desktop. Links to both of these can be found on the Course Software and Exercise Files page. Please bring a mouse for your laptop. Graphical software is difficult to use with a pad or stick. A fast internet connection for your laptop will be available by secure wireless network and/or RJ45 network cable.
Daily Timetable
Courses start at 9.30am on the Monday and 9.00am on subsequent days. You should arrive around 15 minutes early each day in order to setup your laptop and get settled in. Courses finish by 5.00pm each day. Lunch is normally at around 12.30pm each day and is of a sandwich buffet style. Lunch lasts for 1 hour, 45 mins or 30 mins as decided by majority vote. The time saved by taking 30 or 45 minutes for lunch can be used to finish 30 or 15 minutes early if students prefer. There are breaks of 15 minutes each at approximately 10.45am and 3.15pm. Depending on progress through the material it may be possible to finish 30 minutes early on the Friday.
